Shame on the Free Lance for Hurting Memorial Day Event
Editor,
Shame on you, Free Lance, for not printing an article on the Annual Memorial Day service at the Veterans Building!
Due to your lack of printing an article, the service was very poorly attended. The few supporters who were there were the same ones who assumed it would be held again this year.
It was too bad that not one member of the Board of Supervisors nor the City Council were in attendance. Shame on them, too.

The Will of the People Bitten by the Board of Supervisors
Editor,
First we had a developer and its high- priced attorneys find ways to ignore what the voters had voted on and passed.
Now the supervisors need more money, so they found a way to get around “Prop 13” by including only 90 percent of the population, so it only takes a simple majority of the voters to pass, not two-thirds. What happens when the mosquitoes are under control, what will happen to the tax money?
Why can’t each property owner take care and drain standing water? Put mosquito fish in ponds, water troughs and other bodies of water and if they want protection. For years my family have taken B12 when we went camping or fishing and never got any mosquito bites.
It works, I asked two doctors and they said it is a fact, try it!!
