With today being Good Friday, Sacred Heart School this morning held its annual Walk of the Cross, or “Passion Walk.”
The school had a minimum day, while students, staff and parishioners joined in the walk from Sacred Heart Church to St. Benedict. It is meant to allow reflection about the sacrifice made by Jesus on Good Friday.
The school community met in the gym shortly after 8 a.m. They watched a film leading up to the Walk of the Cross, which started at about 9 a.m., and the group was set to arrive at St. Benedict at about 11 a.m. Stations of the Cross were scheduled to start at about noon.
