Margaret R. Strohn passed away at her Hollister home at the age of 88. She was born in Hollister and lived in San Benito County all of her life.   

 She was a member of Sacred Heart/St. Benedict Catholic Church and also was a member of Immaculate Conception Church during her life. She was a teacher’s aid at Panoche School and served on the board of the school and was board president at one time. She was a 4-H leader for 20 plus years. She attended San Benito Junior College and received an associate degree.

 She is survived by her son, Millard Strohn of Hollister and her sisters, Georgia Tagilo of Loomis and Lillian Corotto of Hollister and many nieces and nephews.

 She is preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Strohn and her two sisters, Marie Rey and Carlene Key.

 A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 11:30 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church on Fairview Rd in Hollister. A reception will follow at the church hall.

 Donations are preferred to St. Benedict’s Church Building Fund.
