Here we go again, another reader equating the Confederate Battle
Flag
– the banner carried by Veterans Administration, recognized
American soldiers – with the flag of the Nazi Party of Germany! I
get tired of the same ole’ BS every time someone wants to make a
point using the analogy of the Confederate Battle Flag being equal
to the Nazi Flag. I want to know what
this person is smoking to think that way.
Editor,
Here we go again, another reader equating the Confederate Battle Flag – the banner carried by Veterans Administration, recognized American soldiers – with the flag of the Nazi Party of Germany! I get tired of the same ole’ BS every time someone wants to make a point using the analogy of the Confederate Battle Flag being equal to the Nazi Flag. I want to know what this person is smoking to think that way.
The Nazi Party was despicable and without any redeeming policy. Where as the only thing the Confederates did to be castigated by modern-day liberal Yankees is to not want to pay higher taxes for goods and services than the rest of the US population had to pay. Like the same Americans did in 1776! I am proud of my great uncles and great grampa who served under Gen. Sterling Price in the War of Southern Independence in the Confederate Army.
