ILLEGAL WEAPON POSSESSION: Greg Fred Larios Jr., 20, of 641 Riviera Drive in Hollister was arrested by San Benito County Sheriff’s deputies on the corner of Line Street and Nash Road for illegal possession of a knife, a felony, and underage drinking, a misdemeanor, at 10:45 p.m. Friday.
DOMESTIC ABUSE: William Michael Bravo, 29, of 845 Central St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police at 2 p.m. Friday for inflicting corporal injury on his girlfriend, a felony, after he threw her to the ground during an argument. The couple’s child was a few feet away when the incident took place and Bravo was also arrested for inflicting harm to a child, a felony.
POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE: Marcos Rodriguez, 19, of 140 McCarthy St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police on the 800 block of Monterey Street for possession of a small bag of methamphetamine, a felony, at 11:41 p.m. Friday.
BURGLARY: Hollister police responded to a burglary call at Starbucks in the Nob Hill Shopping Center at 5:05 a.m. Saturday after employees found that an undetermined amount of money had been stolen out of the safe the night before. Police do not have any suspects, but that same night four or five other Starbucks in neighboring cities such as Monterey and Salinas were burglarized the same way and police believe it could be an inside job.
THREATENING A PEACE OFFICER: Robert Anthony Perry, 38, of 1393 Shore Road in Hollister, was arrested Sunday around 1:05 p.m. for verbally threatening and attempting to fight Hollister Police Officer Michael Bogosian, a felony, at the Country Rose Cafe on San Felipe Road when Bogosian was off-duty. Perry was upset with Bogosian for a prior run-in during a bar fight several years ago.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Hollister resident Laurie Ferguson, 40, of 152 San Felipe Road Apt. 120, was arrested by Hollister police at 4:01 p.m. on the 200 block of Park Street for driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, Sunday.
