An environmental scoping meeting will be held March 13, at 6 p.m., in the Board of Supervisors’ chambers to discuss the Resource Recovery Park.
The proposed Resource Recovery Park project is located on a 30-acre portion of land owned by San Benito County south of John Smith Road Landfill. The project would amend the county general plan land use designation from agricultural productive to public/quasi public and change it to a new zone called Resource Recovery Park.
Residents of the community will have a chance to share their thoughts on the project at the meeting.
