Birthday wishes go out to Wacey Barrington, who celebrated his birthday May 8. He celebrated by having a camp out with some friends at Lake San Antonio last Saturday night followed by a day of water skiing on Sunday. Those camping out on Saturday night with Wacey and Andy were Buddy and Brody Sans, and Tel Jones. Todd and I headed out to the lake on Sunday afternoon to celebrate Mother’s Day with the Barrington and the McFarland families. Also out there celebrating were Kanani, Chase and Clay Barbree; Blair Dani; Matt Owens’ family; Trish, Kaitlyn and Heather Shaug; and Wendy, Jake, Jessika and Jarrod Davis; and Wendy’s boyfriend, Duke. Everyone had a great time but the boys all got way too sunburned and could hardly even walk on Monday.

Anniversary wishes go out to Jeff and Jean Schmidt who celebrated an anniversary last week and get well wishes also go out to Jeff who had a procedure done last week at Stanford, as well.

Tracie Eggleston branded some calves last Saturday morning at her place. Those helping her included J.W. Brewen, Todd and Brody Sans and Andy and Wacey Barrington. After they finished at Tracie’s place, the crew headed to Jim and Betty Barrington’s to brand a few of their calves, as well.

Alicia Koester hosted “Ladies Night” at L.A. Hearne’s “The Country Store with More” last Friday night at their King City store. What a fun time that was. I missed the first one they held back in February, but was able to make this one. Next time she has one, ladies, be sure not to miss it. She has some great bargains, special drawings and some delicious food. Plus, I got to visit with a lot of girl friends that I haven’t seen in a while. It was a lot of fun, thanks Alicia and everyone from Hearne’s. I stopped by there on my way home from Buddy’s baseball practice so he went in with me. He didn’t mind all the girls in there at all and he loved all the food. He wanted to know if they hosted a “Guys’ Night” too!

I hope all you moms out there had a great Mother’s Day.

Have a great week, and be sure to give me a call or e-mail me at [email protected] with any news you’d like to share.
