Thomas William Johnson passed away on April 17, 2016, surrounded by his wife and two daughters.
He is survived by his wife, Pita Johnson, his daughter, Gina Johnson and Thea Castleman, his son-in-law, Chris Castleman, his grandchildren, Christopher and Cameron Castleman, and his nephews, Victor Johnson III and Jeff Johnson. Also survived by Stacy Duval and Molly, Jacob, and Sarah Duval.
He was a loving father who instilled his love of camping and the outdoors to his children.
He loved traveling and exploring the Eastern Sierras with his family as well as bow hunting and hanging out with his friend, Bill. He also enjoyed driving his 1964 Ford truck and off-roading on his ATV. He was looking forward to building his dream cabin in Contact, NV.
He was a Vietnam Veteran who served in the Army from 1966-1968. He was a generous man, willing to help out anyone no questions asked. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Victor Johnson and mother, Kay Schnarr.
