Fight war like you mean it
I got a kick out of hearing liberal pundits after last
November’s election. How in between their salivating and cunning
smiles they would cite the American peoples’ distrust for
government, George Bush and
”
his unjust war
– that’s based on lies
”
as the sole reason why the Republicans lost control of the House
and Senate.

I got a kick out of hearing liberal pundits after last November’s election. How in between their salivating and cunning smiles they would cite the American peoples’ distrust for government, George Bush and ” his unjust war – that’s based on lies” as the sole reason why the Republicans lost control of the House and Senate.
The Republicans lost not because America is unhappy with an unjust war. America is unhappy with the way we are fighting a very just war. Americans want us to go in there, kick ass, take down names and go home.
Americans are sick of seeing this war being fought under the guidelines of political correctness, rules of engagement handbooks for our troops, on the front pages of the New York Times, through ACLU trial lawyers and left-wing propagandists that seem to be more concerned with a harmless photo of a few nude prisoners at Abu Ghraib than those in the photo. You know, the ones who want to cut all of our heads off.
I’d say when the objective is to cut someone else’s head off and film the gruesome act; you’ve pretty much given up your right to any form of political correctness.
That’s what America is mad about; not Islam, but extremists who seek glory in spilling the blood of others.
And believe me, America is not mad at George Bush for going to war against an enemy with an ideology that’s entirely structured around the killing of as many infidels as possible just for the sake of earning a one-way ticket to heaven.
America is mad because we didn’t go in there with a John Wayne meets General Patton mentality and end this thing in six months. Why do we spend so much on defense weaponry if we don’t have the guts to use what we have?
Instead, we focus on the Geneva Convention, collateral damage and not targeting funeral processions that gather hundreds of terrorist leaders in one area.
America is mad because if we’re calling it a war in the first place, then we’d better handle it like a war and fight it with everything we’ve got. That’s how we won every other war we ever won. So why handcuff ourselves now? That’s the frustrating thing. We’re trying to fight this war in a conventional, New York Times friendly way while our boys keep coming home in body bags.
When the Enola Gay flew over Hiroshima followed by Bockscar’s bombing of Nagasaki in the summer of 1945, a lot of innocent lives were lost, yes. But that horrific bomb also brought the planet 50 years of peace, whether you want to admit it or not.
Sure, those bombs started the Cold War but they also prevented a Hot War with Russia from ever happening.
Why? Because after those bombs blew up everyone knew we meant business. They knew our capabilities, they knew our willingness to use those bombs if need be and for those reasons they knew not to mess around with the United States of America.
Today, we’ve become a watered-down nation of people that would rather save the habitat or a red-legged frog than widen a highway to save a human life.
We’ve become a nation with so many rules to follow and threats of lawsuits lurking that our soldiers are reluctant to do their jobs for fear of going to jail alongside the same people they are pursuing.
Do you know that our military has to file a full investigative report now in the event that any soldier fires back after being fired upon? Gen. Patton must be turning over in his grave. We would have lost WWII with this kind of mentality.
People don’t seem to understand that universal healthcare, abortion, gay marriage and whatever else the liberals like to push are all meaningless without a country to provide those rights.
We could end this thing without a single troop on the ground in either Iraq or Afghanistan, just by opening up a few silos in remote areas of Montana. It sounds crazy, sure. But we need to understand that we’re dealing with an enemy that will do exactly that to us the second he has the means to do so – and he’s working feverishly 24/7 to acquire those means any way possible.
Today, leaders like North Korea’s Kim Jong-Il and Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad know that we don’t have the guts to use our weaponry so they can play tough guy and beat their chests without any fear of repercussions.
So how do we win this war? We stoop to their level.
Right now North Korea, Iran and the leaders of every other terrorist-sponsored nation in the world are laughing at us.
That would reverse real quickly if we told all of these countries to stop what they were doing by a certain amount of time or their country becomes ash.
What if we came out tomorrow and said the next Iranian-built weapon that is used by Iraq insurgents to kill any member of the U.S. military will result in the wiping out of Tehran from the map?
Sure that sounds crazy, too, but Diane Sawyer just sat down for a friendly, humanizing interview with Ahmadinejad – the same guy who has already said Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth.
If we said that to them now, they would laugh in our face until we actually followed through. If we did follow through, millions would be dead but millions more might live for the future.
And that’s a lot better than what will happen when these crazed lunatics have the means. Can you imagine if our enemy had the means and weaponry that we have to fight this war? By now, Tel Aviv would look like a giant pile of radioactive soot and so would the major cities inside England and America.
Think about it, America. Five years from now you may not have an option.
