Dear Editor:
This is an open letter to the person or persons who stole my two valuable day planners from my car last Sunday (Aug. 10) evening while my car was parked in my driveway on Rainbow Drive, Hollister.
I’m offering a $300 reward for you to return those two planners or to anyone who provides me with information that leads to the return of these two day planners. No questions asked.
Neither of these planners contained any money or credit cards, only cherished family photos, photos of my granddaughter from babyhood on, some family business paperwork and personal letters, in addition to 20 years worth of family and friend’s addresses, phone numbers, contact and personal information.
These are more than just plastic binders and paper.
These are an important part of my life history that you have stolen.
Neither the new black planner or the ragged older brown one have any monetary value to you or anyone, but they have tremendous value to me. Just return everything you have, or locate where you threw them away, and return them to me.
I promise NO LEGAL HASSLES. I only want my property returned. And you will be $300 richer.
Call my office weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 408-776-0433, ext. 311 (Donna) with information on the reward or how to return the planners.
I urge homeowners in the vicinity of Rainbow Drive to check their garbage cans, bushes, vacant lots near their homes to see if these stolen articles were dumped near you.
Thank you to everyone who puts forth a special effort to help me get these valuable pieces of property (and their contents) back to me!
Donna Avina, Hollister
