It’s been a beautiful couple of weeks down here in South County, and we’re all waiting patiently for that next round of rain that should be rolling in anytime (hint, hint Mother Nature).
While the weather is so nice, warm and dry, several folks are getting their calves branded. Dean and Nikki Bell branded their calves last Sunday. Some of those helping them out included Wacey and Andy Barrington, the Brewen Family, Mitch, Kristy, Lacy and Jake Bourdet, Lacy and Brady Bourdet, Cash Robinson and Todd and Brody Sans. The kids all got to rope and they all did great and had a great time as well.
Fred. John and Janel Flook branded some of their calves on Monday. Some of those helping them out included Vern and Jo Ann Scattini, John Nino, Chad Zgragen, Eric Issacson, Tim Griffin and me, Todd and Brody.
Congratulations go out to Brendon Clark for a big win on the Professional Bull Riders Touring Pro Division last weekend in Eugene, Ore. Hopefully we will be seeing Brendon back on the Built Ford Tough Series real soon. Speaking of that, if any of you happened to catch the PBR on NBC last Sunday, you may have seen the national TV debut of Cash Robinson and Brody Sans. Brendon did a Ford Invasion segment that was nationally televised during the PBR and he included Cash and Brody in the segment. It was quite a feature, showing the two boys riding bulls. It was pretty exciting watching the boys on TV and an experience they will never forget.
If you missed it, you can check it out on the PBR website at PBRNOW.COM. Click on the videos section, followed by the Ford Invasion/Hollister link. Thanks to Brendon, Luke Snyder and Sean Willingham for including the boys in that fun feature.
Alex, Laura and Wyatt Naccarrato and Billy and Dana Aviles spent last weekend in Sacramento at the PBR where they both had bulls bucking in the event. Everyone had a great time.
I hope everyone enjoys the Super Bowl this weekend, and good luck to all those who purchased Super Bowl squares for the many pools taking place out there.
Have a great week and be sure to give me a call or e-mail me at we********@ao*.com with any news you’d like to share.
