The Hollister Police Department is looking for the second suspect in a suspected gang-related shooting that occurred near the intersection of Central Avenue and Teresita Court last weekend, according to police.

A warrant has been issued for Humberto Gomez Sanchez, 34, charging him on suspicion of discharging a firearm in public and assault with a deadly weapon. Bail is set at $210,000, according to the HPD.

Sanchez is one of two men suspected of exchanging gunfire around 1 p.m. Sunday. The second suspect, Tomas Venegas Jr., was previously arrested and remains at the jail.

Sanchez is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 5 inches, 165 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Sanchez has multiple tattoos throughout his body, according to the HPD.

Police say Sanchez is considered armed and dangerous. If seen, contact police immediately and do not approach or attempt to detain Sanchez.
