County officials apparently don’t plan to walk the line with the Brown Act again at next week’s meeting.
On the agenda for Tuesday’s meeting, supervisors plan to discuss homeless issues and the possible Nash Road closure, two topics that became discussion points for the county board last week despite not having them on the agenda.
Supervisors at the June 1 meeting, during department head and board announcements, took turns discussing the Nash Road issue and also the matter with homeless residents creating an encampment of sorts along the San Benito River bed on the west side.
Public bodies are barred from discussing or taking action on items absent from meeting agendas. The department head and board announcements historically have been focused on updates from officials on committee gatherings and other attended events.
