Economic Development Corp. of San Benito County President George Lewis will make an announcement to the group’s board at a meeting this morning regarding the search for a new executive director.
The organization has been searching for a new leader to take on an expanded role for months and narrowed a list of applicants to one finalist July 15. Since that time, Lewis has said group leaders have been negotiating with that prospective director.
Lewis said he would make an announcement to the Free Lance at some point this morning after the 10:30 a.m. EDC meeting.
