Dear Editor,
It is beyond comprehension why anyone would vote for Barack
Obama. If he is elected, it appears it will be to a large extent on
the backs of illegal voters fraudulently registered by Acorn, an
organization to which Obama has closer ties than he cares to admit.
Throughout his life, he has had close relationships with
individuals whose actions are contrary to the people of this
country from Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party,
to WIlliam Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist who wishes he had done
more damage; to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a hate America preacher, to
his friend, Tony, a Chicago style crook. In each case he had closer
affiliations than he sometimes wanted to admit. Did these people
have an influence on his attitude toward this country? Of course
they did!
Reasons to vote against Barack Obama

Dear Editor,

It is beyond comprehension why anyone would vote for Barack Obama. If he is elected, it appears it will be to a large extent on the backs of illegal voters fraudulently registered by Acorn, an organization to which Obama has closer ties than he cares to admit. Throughout his life, he has had close relationships with individuals whose actions are contrary to the people of this country from Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party, to WIlliam Ayers, an unrepentant terrorist who wishes he had done more damage; to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, a hate America preacher, to his friend, Tony, a Chicago style crook. In each case he had closer affiliations than he sometimes wanted to admit. Did these people have an influence on his attitude toward this country? Of course they did!

Obama’s voting record shows that he is the most radical far-left member of the United States Senate. If he is elected, in conjunction with the likes of Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, we will have change all right. Change as such that you will not recognize this country. We will be laboring under more stifling regulation and control. Politicians and bureaucrats will be dictating everything you can and cannot do. The opportunity for an individual to operate his own small farm, small ranch or small business will become extremely difficult if not impossible.

There is a San Francisco host who always ends her program with the words “Be careful what you wish for; you might get it.” This seems especially appropriate in regard to Barack Obama.

US undergoes major changes in recent years

Dear Editor,

The United States has undergone several fundamental changes in the last several months. The most troubling is the partial nationalization of the insurance and finance industries.

There was outrage when Hugo Chavez nationalized the oil industry in Venezuela. Where is the outrage when the United States government nationalizes one or more industries?

Other disturbing observations include the large number (more than 150) of McCain-Palin yard signs that have been stolen and the punishment of the Orlando, FL TV station, WFTV, for asking Joe Biden several tough questions. So the Obama campaign is blackballing the station for at least the remainder of the election season. This is an ominous precedent.

The first is interference with free speech. The second is interference with the news media. Or maybe it is the initial application of the “Fairness Doctrine.” The Free Lance may be next.

Most recently, Barclay Surrick, US District Court Judge for the Eastern District of PA, has ruled that Philip J. Berg cannot sue a presidential candidate for proof that a candidate satisfies the requirements to be president as required by the Constitution of the United States. So much for we the people.

These are changes we do not need.

McCain deserves it

Dear Editor,

This is the man that deserves the presidency. This is the man who has spent his entire life honoring the American flag and the democracy that it represents. This is the man with the proven character and integrity. This is the man with unwavering principles who has given his life for his country. This is the man of his word who cannot lie and doesn’t have to explain away or apologize for his friends. This is the man who can lead through the troublesome waters ahead. This man is John McCain.
