DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: Raul Antonio Velasquez, 31, who resides on Santana Parkway in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol for driving with a blood alcohol level over .08, a misdemeanor, on southbound Highway 25, south of Highway 156 at 10:48 p.m. Wednesday.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE: David Flores, 18, of 1621 Sunset St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, a felony, after he crashed the car he was driving into a telephone control box on the 800 block of Sunset Drive at 6:39 a.m. Wednesday.
DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: Sergio Bravo Quesada, 29, of 1175 Sally St. in Hollister, was arrested by Hollister police on the corner of Sally and Hawkins streets for possession of a meth pipe around 5 p.m. Wednesday. Quesada, who had warrants for drug possession, was spotted by an off-duty officer who called in his whereabouts.
BATTERY: John Raymond Wolgamott, 48, was arrested at the corner of Flora Street and San Felipe Road for battery and misdemeanor resisting arrest when he became enraged with a Hollister Police sergeant who put a 72-hour eviction notice on the camper trailer he was living in at 11:10 p.m. Wednesday.
