The Aromas Community Grange is celebrating 90 years as a community action group with a pot-luck dinner-dance Friday at 6:30 p.m. at the Grange Hall, located on the corner of Rose and Bardue Avenue.
Aromas residents are invited to bring a favorite food dish to share, a date, family and friends to help celebrate the milestone. Rhythm and blues band Day And Night will perform and party-goers are reminded to bring their dancing shoes.
Grange President Clyde Gailey said the public is welcome to attend the Grange’s monthly meeting prior to the event.
“You don’t have to be a member to attend,” he said.
The Grange was officially formed on Jan. 13, 1913.
On Saturday the Grange will hold its monthly Contra Dance from 7-10 p.m. Beginners are asked to come 15 minutes early for dance instructions. For more information, call (831) 726-1570.
