The current rain totals from the storm that swept through the region on Thursday show 3.62 inches of rain in one area close to Hollister, according to the National Weather Service.
That measurement was taken three miles south-southeast of Hollister and was the latest reading as of 4:30 a.m. Friday, according to the weather service.
Other measurements included 3.3 inches six miles north of Hollister and 2.07 inches at Pinnacles National Park.
