A stabbing occurred early Saturday morning at East and Fourth streets and police are looking for suspects, according to a statement from the Hollister Police Department.
At about 1:45 a.m. Saturday, police responded to a report of a stabbing in the downtown area. The victim was flown to a Bay Area hospital and was listed in stable condition as of Monday, according to the HPD.
He told police a group of males approached him in a private lot and asked his gang affiliation. When he said he wasn’t gang affiliated, the assault occurred with the use of fists, beer bottles and a knife, according to police.
The suspects ran away, and the victim couldn’t provide anymore information on them.
