goings on of our various political leaders and what is important to
them. They have a variety of concerns and grievances they would
like addressed and resolved.

Much has been written in the local papers recently about the goings on of our various political leaders and what is important to them. They have a variety of concerns and grievances they would like addressed and resolved.
I too have some concerns about this county.
I am concerned about adequate programs and recreational activities to meet the needs of our children. I am concerned about gang elements that appear to be spreading to more and more of our youth. I am concerned about the quality of air we’ll all be breathing in 10 years with the influx of housing and its inherent problems. I am concerned about the quality of health care I’ll receive should I become ill. I am concerned about the quality of the job market in San Benito County. I am concerned about the condition of our roadways. I am concerned about the level and quality of the fire and police protection we all receive. I am concerned about our children, the ones we’re sending to school and college right now, finding affordable rentals and homes should they decide to reside in San Benito County their adult lives.
And I am also concerned that voters receive fair and equal treatment. I want them all to receive and read the bilingual elections literature that is currently being mailed to them so they are able to make informed decisions at the polling places.
There are so many concerns that need to be addressed that it is difficult to determine which is the most crucial at this time. But I have to say that “voting irregularities” just isn’t my “most important” area of concern right now. And, Ms. Loe, I would hope it really isn’t yours either.
