Congratulation to the high school ag department. The two new teachers that were added to the staff were slow in coming and long over-due. Many years back, there were five on the staff.

Agriculture in San Benito County is not dead. There are so many new fields that could be taught – organic farming has opened many doors. It has changed the growing of field crops, fruits and nuts, livestock raising, types of irrigation and fertilizer, just to mention a few. Keep up the good work, don’t stop now. Kelly has done a great job in putting life into the department. Congratulations to her on a job well done!
