Don’t bite the hand that feeds you or brings jobs and revenue to
our community.
So, you have problems with the noise and smell from the cannery.
You moved nearby with full knowledge of what the buildings held.
There used to be two canneries, I assume making twice as much
noise, but it seems we dealt with it for the few months each
year.

It sounds like you are the same people who would move next to an airport then complain about planes flying over your house or near a railroad and have problems with the sounds of the trains.

Maybe you’re the same people that would move next to a dairy or a pig farm, then complain about the smells. Perhaps you’re the folk who would move next to a highway and complain about the traffic. I suppose you’ll try to take the garlic aroma out of Gilroy or the smells from our local paper mill.

Don’t move to an area and expect it to change for you.

Homes should not be allowed to be built so close to factories, sewer ponds and the like. Zoning needs to be better planned.

Don’t bite the hand that feeds you and the community with millions of dollars of revenue that will be lost if the company decides to move away because things don’t suit you.
