The annual San Juan Bautista Easter Parade and Egg Hunt, orginally scheduled for this Saturday at 11 a.m., has been cancelled. Traditionally sponsored by the city’s Chamber of Commerce, whose staff could not be reached for comment by press time this week, the event is still listed on the chamber’s Web site. Trish Paetz, San Juan’s city clerk, said she had fielded “a couple of calls” asking if the event was being held. She said no special events form was submitted seeking permission for the parade and egg hunt, which had been held for 21 years.
