I forgot to mention that California is billions in debt. The land designated by Measure G will be devalued. Our tax assessor has told us that if G passes, the value of property will decrease. Who will pay this decrease in tax revenue?

San Benito County farmers are no longer competitive in the world market. Mexico pays their farm labor fifty cents an hour. The valley east of Guadalajara has tens of thousands of farm acres. Green Giant, Bird’s Eye and others are well established there. Chile, Ecuador, Israel, Turkey and China are just a few more competitors.

In this Orwellian era of intimidation, misinformation, disinformation and alleged corruption, it is apparent that all of these anti-democracy forces have unfortunately come to Hollister.
