Applications are available for the Open Studios Art Tour, which will send beauty appreciators traversing San Benito County in search of professional craftsmanship to admire and buy.
During the two-day event, artists in San Juan Bautista, Hollister and Aromas open their homes to sell art, demonstrate techniques and muse over all things beautiful.
The tour last spring included stops where artists featured felted shawls, stamped cards, metal earrings, paintings, sketches, pottery and handmade soap. This year’s tour will be April 23 and 24 with a preview exhibition of works at the council’s ARTspace at 240 Fifth St. in downtown Hollister.
