Responders treat the victim on a sidewalk at Fourth and San Benito streets.

A truck hit a male pedestrian on a bicycle at the intersection of Fourth and San Benito streets before fleeing the scene, according to police.
The suspected hit-and-run occurred at about 2 p.m. Thursday at the busy intersection near the county courthouse.
A juvenile male was southbound crossing Fourth Street when the truck – described by witnesses as blue or gray/silver – struck him and continued on Fourth Street, turning left at the parking lot before the lighted intersection, said Hollister police Officer Rudy Rodriguez.
Responders treated the victim – whose condition was immediately unclear – and transported him to Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital.
