ANNUAL SPRING CLEAN UP POSTPONED: The Hollister Downtown Association has postponed the April 24 Spring Clean Up. The project will resume sometime after the Downtown Beautification Project is completed. Call 636-8406 for more information.

Musical Festival: Local public school students will perform at the annual San Benito County Music festival at 7 p.m. on April 15 and 16. Choral and Jazz ensembles will perform at Rancho San Justo Middle School Gym Thursday. Band and Orchestra performances will be held in the SBHS Gym on Friday. More than 600 students will perform at the annual event including Aromas and San Juan Elementary Schools Band, Orchestra and Jazz ensemble directed by John Orzel; Hollister School District Elementary School band directed by Susan Chizek; Rancho San Justo/ Marguerite Middle Schools Concert Band, Choir and Jazz Ensemble directed by Jim Zuniga; and the Advanced Women’s Ensemble and Concert Choir directed by Amy Oelrich. Occupational Outlook: The 2003 California Monterey Bay Region (San Benito, Santa Cruz and Monterey counties) Occupational Outlook Report will be distributed to the local community at a dissemination meeting on Tuesday, April 13.
