Hollister Tire & Battery now rents U-Hauls
Celerino and Maria Lopez, owners of Hollister Tire & Battery, located at 10 Fourth St., recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to the tire shop and complete auto service they have been offering since 2002.
Hollister Tire & Battery can now offer its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance and furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports. Hollister Tire & Battery also will offer sales items to protect their customers’ belongings and make moving easier, such as heavy-duty boxes, which are made of up to 90 percent recycled content and are available in a variety of sizes.
“We felt that becoming U-Haul dealers would be a good way to expand our business,” the Lopezes said.
