There are some pretty high weeds growing in an area near Rancho San Justo Middle School, where the train tracks come to an end.
The weeds in that area are located at the intersection of East Park and McCray streets and have been obstructing the view of drivers there.
The city routinely responds when it hears about such potential safety hazards, and the City of Hollister Public Works Department’s streets division has been made aware of it.
Public works official Marcelo Orta was out in the field Wednesday when the Pinnacle left a message and could not get back immediately regarding the weed matter.
