Our beloved mother, sister and friend, Doris May Szyndrowski, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2007 at the age of 83. Loved ones were at her side.
Beloved wife of the late Adam Szyndrowski, loving mother of Dennis Szyndrowski, Kathy Jewell (Jim), and Kurt Szyndrowski, dear sister of Marge Ludwig and the late Robert Mihills, devoted grandmother of Andrew, Adam, Ellen, Emily and Zachery.
She was born in Sacramento, CA on Oct. 16, 1923 to Melville and Gladys Mihills. She lived her early years in Sacramento and Willits. Doris graduated from high school in Sacramento. She married Adam Szyndrowski in 1946. They moved to San Jose in 1952 and Doris lived in Santa Clara County the rest of her life.
She loved her family. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats. She liked to sew and made many of her own clothes, as well as clothes for her children and grandchildren. A wonderful gardener, Doris loved flowers and plants. In later years, she was active in Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she made many dear friends. She was a kind, caring person and we will miss her very much.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall, 985 Barrett Ave., Morgan Hill.
