Calfire contained a blaze Monday to just over 80 acres near Pinnacles National Park, according to the state agency’s website.

The incident report for the fire came in at 12:45 p.m. Monday, and Calfire listed it as 100 percent contained as of 3:45 p.m. Monday, according to the state agency’s log. A Calfire spokesman couldn’t be reached immediately for additional comment.

The San Benito-Monterey unit of Calfire fully extinguished the blaze that occurred about five miles east of Pinnacles off Old Hernandez Road, according to the state.
