A student without pride, with a low self-image, is doomed to
academic failure. All our students should have pride for our nation
and pride for Mexico, which just celebrated 184 years as an
independent nation.

All our students should have pride for our nation and pride for Mexico, which just celebrated 184 years as an independent nation. The second “Grito de Hidalgo” was “Viva la Independencia.” I have a problem banning that. San Benito High School needs to reconsider its flag ban.
