The Central Coast Barnstormers lost 48-7 to the Salinas Spartans (4-1) on Saturday night in Salinas, and fall to 2-3 overall in the Northern California Football League.

The Barnstormers are now two games behind the first-place Spartans in the South Division of the National Conference, and sit tied for second with the South Bay Stallions.

Central Coast will try to snap its two-game losing streak on May 8, when it will return to the gridiron for a home game against the Nor Cal Lawmen (2-2).
