The Coast Conference football opener between the visiting De Anza Dons and the Gavilan Rams was postponed Saturday night.

Two of the three light banks on the west side of Garcia-Elder Sports Complex were not functioning, leading to 90 minutes of delays before the game was postponed. Originally set for a 7 p.m. kick-off, the postponement was determined at 8:40 p.m.

No new date for the contest was immediately announced.
