The funeral service for Andrel Gaines, the 19-year-old Gavilan College basketball who died from injuries suffered in a Nov. 6 car accident, is scheduled for at 11 a.m. Dec. 3 in the gymnasium on Gavilan’s campus, athletic director Ron Hannon told the Gilroy Dispatch on Wednesday.
Gaines, who had been in a medically induced coma since he and two Gavilan teammates and two other passengers were involved in the two-car wreck, died Friday at San Francisco General Hospital.
No other details about the service have been released.
