Country Rose Gallery and Frame is hosting a fundraiser for the
San Benito High School art department with a raffle of an original
piece of artwork. Country Rose employees Brittani Diehl and
Heatherly Takeuchi came up with the idea.
Diehl created a 16-by-24-inch custom charcoal drawing of the
main vampire character from the

Twilight

series, Edward Cullen. The piece is on display in the store’s
front window at 722 San Benito St. It will be given away Oct. 31 at
1 p.m. The artwork and custom frame are valued at $350.
Tickets for the drawing are $1 each, six for $5 or 25 for $20.
Tickets are available at the gallery, from John Robrock, a San
Benito High School art teacher, or from Diehl.
