Gavilan College quarterback Ajene Palmer has been recognized as
the Junior College Athletic Bureau State Player of the Week.
Gavilan College quarterback Ajene Palmer has been recognized as the Junior College Athletic Bureau State Player of the Week after his performance in the Rams’ 39-29 victory over Monterey Peninsula College last week.

Palmer completed 19 of 34 attempts for 325 yards and two touchdowns. He also ran four times for 36 yards.

Gavilan, 4-5 overall and 2-1 in the Coast Conference, is at Cabrillo Saturday night.
