San Benito High junior Brad Sparrer will be playing in the Frys.com Open Pro-Junior event. 

San Benito High junior Brad Sparrer finished fourth in the Junior Tour Northern California Golf Player of the Year standings to earn a berth in the annual Frys.com Open Pro-Junior event, which is held a week before the 2015-16 season-opening PGA Tour event at Silverado’s North Course in Napa.
Sparrer totaled 1,315 points to finish behind San Jose’s Thomas Hutchison, Justin Suh and Eddy Lai. The top six boys and girls in the standings earn the right to play with the pros a week before the main tournament starts on Oct. 14. The Frys.com Open was played at CordeValle in San Martin from 2010 to 2013 before moving to Silverado in 2014.
