The Hollister Downtown Association has a busy Saturday planned.
Volunteers are needed for the Hollister Downtown Association’s upcoming Spring Cleanup from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
The organization encourages residents to bring your brooms, dustpans, gloves, clippers and shovels to help us get our downtown in tip-top shape. Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H Clubs, Church Groups, Service Clubs, students needing service hours and community-minded adults are encouraged to come and help.

Also Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the HDA is hosting its annual Downtown Plant Sale & Garden Expo. It is held each year in April to coincide with the spring trials, the event also offers education about water-efficient landscaping, composting classes, demonstration of how to build a raised bed garden and assistance from Master Gardeners in addition to selling a wide variety of plants.
