The Fourth of July Celebration Committee will host a fireworks show at the field behind Marguerite Maze Middle School, 900 Meridian St., Hollister. The show begins at dusk.
The committee will also host a children’s parade from the Veterans Memorial Park commuter parking lot to Marguerite Maze Middle School. The parade begins at 10am. Motorized vehicles are forbidden.
Stands throughout Hollister will sell “safe and sane” fireworks that can be used legally within the city.
City Hall, the County Administration Office, the post office and the Department of Motor Vehicles will be closed.
Nob Hill Foods, Safeway and Save Mart will open for their regular hours, 6am to 11pm.
