Hollister council members Tuesday are set to consider hiring a new city clerk, according to the council meeting agenda.
An executive search firm hired by the city is recommending the hiring of Tom Graves. He has been with the City of San Jose as an assistant city clerk since January 2014, according to his Linkedin page.
The city manager is proposing to hire him at an annual salary of $106,800, according to the agenda report with the item.
Graves would succeed former City Clerk Geri Johnson, who retired this year after 30 years of service. Interim City Clerk Christine Black has been filling the role in the meantime.
