Elizabeth Sandoval on Friday won a Great Grocery Giveaway contest through Hollister Super and was awarded “groceries for a year”—in this case a $5,200 card for use at the store.
“I didn’t believe it,” Sandoval told the Free Lance.
She said the winnings would help a lot. Sandoval, of Hollister, is married with four children.
“We do buy a lot of groceries,” she said.
Sandoval said she saw the game in the store and “just decided to try it.” She said before the grocery giveaway, she hadn’t won anything.
