Three county supervisors are running for reelection in 2012, and all three will face opponents on the June primary ballot.
Residents had until 5 p.m. Friday to declare candidacy for the primary season to get on the ballot for the June 5 election.
In District 1, Supervisor Margie Barrios will face challenger Mark Starritt. Barrios, seeking a second four-year term, lists her occupation as a self-employed accountant. Starritt lists himself as a general building contractor.
In District 2, Supervisor Anthony Botelho will face challenger Arturo Medina. Botelho is seeking a third term and lists himself as a farmer. Medina is a former San Juan Bautista city councilman and lists himself as a small business owner.
In District 5, Supervisor Jaime De La Cruz is seeking a third term, listing himself as an accountant and county supervisor. He is facing Sonny Flores, who lists his occupation as property management.
