Thanks to my golfing partners, I usually have more material than
I can handle.
Of course they shall remain nameless, but how come every time I
walk in to the club for a cup of coffee, everyone already knows the
names?

Player number 1 has been trying out a new driver and all of a sudden he is hitting the ball 25 yards farther and straighter than ever. Not good enough.

Now the shaft isn’t stiff enough. He still won’t use enough club to the green because he should be hitting the irons farther too.

Player number 2 finally had an epiphany. He realized if he swung easier he would actually hit the ball farther and straighter. Also, he realized if he gripped down an inch on the shaft, he would gain better control of the club head.

Of course, we have been discussing these topics for two years now, but player number 3 finally also decided that he would stop breaking shoe laces if he would swing easier. Amazingly, he also hits the ball farther and straighter.

Me? I’m so busy writing down all this material, I hardly have time to practice. Is this a great game or what? For more help with your game, see your local PGA or LPGA golf professional.
