This is in reference to two of your recent articles in the Hollister Free Lance.
1. Golf course: I support the name change to Pinnacle Hills Golf Club (which immediately gives an idea of its geographical location), and the short-term lease with an outside operator to run it, especially since this operator already runs nine other golf courses in the vicinity. Both, San Benito County and the operator have a vested interest in the health of our golf club, so this will likely be a win-win situation for both parties.
2. San Benito County Health Officer: Kudos to Dr. Goel for snuffing out tobacco and its products from our Nob Hill and other stores in Hollister. As a person in healthcare, I welcome this as a positive step toward the health of our county denizens.
Congratulation to you for keeping us informed about our region.
Susan Mathur, Hollister
