Leatherback for Gav site
Congratulations are in order to Gavilan College on the new $21 million campus. Currently, they are looking long range, as we the citizens wait for our turn for Gavilan College to develop the Fairview Road/Airline Highway campus.
Our community can’t afford to wait. I call our elected county and city officials to encourage the Gavilan College Board of Trustees to consider the former Leatherback Industries property as a downtown community college campus. The impact on our population would be significant.

Grow now?
You sure did a good job when you built the new sewer plant years ago. You opened up the  town to growth. When you all finally come together to choose a homeless shelter site, I’m sure it’ll be first-class for the homeless. Then we can all get on with growth.
