A man was found at Fourth and Powell streets with stab wounds and later died at a hospital, according to the police chief.
Police received the report at 6:26 p.m., Chief David Westrick said. Responders found the man at the intersection.Â
The chief said police could not release details on the man’s identity pending notification of family.
Westrick said there were witnesses on scene who saw him wounded, but he was unsure whether they had witnessed the actual stabbing.
The death marked Hollister’s second homicide of 2013.
