-Why have the proponents of Measure G, the county supervisors and the Sierra Club’s legal arm fought so hard to keep Measure G off of the ballot?
– Why during a public forum on Measure G, when a proponent of the measure stated that they had a study issued by the County Planning Department, there was more laughter in the City Hall chambers than has been heard there in a long time?
– Why has the County Tax Assessor supported the estimated land value decrease and tax revenue losses as stated in the Farm Bureau commissioned study, versus the county study?
– How much will the cost of a development credit add to the cost of a new home, $20,000-$50,000 or more? Also, how many credits will be required to build and where will they by useable?
– Why doesn’t the county have and use a current long range Growth Management Plan, updated at least every five years with the community’s input?
– If the Board of Supervisors is so worried about changes in zoning happening, why, on any given Tuesday, don’t they change their voting requirement to a super majority (4 out of 5)? After all, it is within their purview to enact that requirement.
– Why would you vote any other way then No on Measure G?
