Agents from the Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team (UNET) seized
approximately 305 grams of methamphetamines and arrested a
Hollister man for intent to sell Thursday, according to a UNET
written statement.
At approximately 11 a.m. UNET agents assisted the Santa Clara
County Probation Department in conducting a search of Juan Manual
Diaz’s residence at 833 Powell St. Diaz was wanted for a prior
violation of his probation, and for a narcotics-related felony
arrest.
Agents from the Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team (UNET) seized approximately 305 grams of methamphetamines and arrested a Hollister man for intent to sell Thursday, according to a UNET written statement.
At approximately 11 a.m. UNET agents assisted the Santa Clara County Probation Department in conducting a search of Juan Manual Diaz’s residence at 833 Powell St. Diaz was wanted for a prior violation of his probation, and for a narcotics-related felony arrest.
UNET agents found various forms of methamphetamine including crystal meth or “ice,” which is the purest form of methamphetamine.
Also found were packaging material, a scale, a cutting agent commonly used in processing methamphetamine and two video surveillance cameras, which are all strong indicators of drug sales, according to the statement.
Diaz was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell, commission of a felony while out on bail and violation of probation.
He is being held at the San Benito County Jail.
