National Night Out will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Target Parking lot.
Residents throughout Hollister and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on outside lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement, according to local authorities.
Many neighborhoods, community organizations and local public safety organizations from San Benito County will be joining at Target for a special event celebrating the 30th Annual National Night Out.
The event features music, food, performances and give away prizes. Jesaiah Baer, who auditioned for American Idol, will be participating in the activities.
